Collection: Solar panels for campervans

One way to generate electric power while traveling in a campervan is by using solar panels to recharge a battery.  It is common to mount the solar panels on the roof of the camper.  The roof location is ideal to capture all the sun available during the day when traveling or when parked.  Usually the panels on the roof are fixed panels.  The solar cells are mounted in a lightweight aluminum frame.  These frames can easily be attached to roof racks or mounting rails securing them permanently.

Fixed panels are not the only panels available for the roof top location.  You can also mount flexible panels to the campervan.  Flexible panels are able the flex as much as 30 degrees where they can easily be positioned on rounded surfaces.  Flexible panels are often glued to the roof surface.  The glue is industrial strength keeping the flexible panels securely mounted.

This collection includes an eBook about folding solar panels.  Folding panels are an extension to the solar system installed on a campervan.  When parked you can easily put the portable folding panels in the sun away from the shaded area around the campervan.  In this collection are eBooks for fixed solar panels, flexible solar panels and folding solar panels.  All the eBooks in this collection have user generated content via video review clips.  Browse this collection to learn about solar panels on campervans.  Want to learn more, select to review, download an eBook, click and watch.
